Removal and degradation of triazole fungicides using Ag/PEG-CuO: an efficient adsorbent-catalyst coupling process

In this work, an effective adsorbent-catalyst coupling (ACC) process is proposed and investigated to treat the wastewater polluted with triazole fungicides. regard, PEG-CuO as well Ag particles were prepared used adsorbent catalyst in ACC process, respectively. For comparison purposes, Fe3O4 was also utilised a catalyst. The experiments conducted remove penconazole, hexaconazole, diniconazole (as representative fungicides which analysed by HPLC-UV). results show that sole catalysts could not completely However, it found complete removal degradation of all can be obtained using approach. next step, effects important operating parameters i.e. load, ratio adsorbent, salt concentration, pH, operation time studied.
